Trinity Financial will choose one Artist/Designer/team to create a permanent art installation in the four-story atrium of the Appleton Mills redevelopment, a textile mill in Lowell, MA. The project is open to individuals and groups who live in New England and includes collaborations with Writers and/or Sound Artists/Musicians. Budget: $15,000. Details.

Boston Printmakers Print Biennial

All North America Artists with original works in any printmaking media that were completed in the past two years can submit images of their pieces (digitally online only) for the Boston Printmakers 2011 North American Print Biennial. The exhibition will take place from February 27, 2011 through May 1st, 2011 at the Danforth Museum of Art in Framingham, Massachusetts. Juror: Jim Dine, Painter and Printmaker.

    Boston Center for the Arts and Palaver Strings
    Deadline for Submissions: October 23, 2017

    Palaver Strings, Music Ensemble in Residence at Boston Center for the Arts, seeks a visual artist collaborator to create a participatory, temporary public art installation that prompts audiences to reflect on Boston as a sanctuary city. This public art project will be an interactive element of three community workshops to be held in late January and early February, and will be installed in the Cyclorama at Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont Street, during the Seeking Sanctuary program and concert, February 9-11, 2018.
