The Boston Harborfest 2010 Fourth of July Festival will celebrate its 29th anniversary this year. The Harborfest Boston Festival consists of six full days of over 200 activities, designed to explore Boston's colonial and maritime history and celebrate the significant role the city had in defining America. Boston Harborfest begins with an Opening Ceremony (at Faneuil Hall) on June 30th and will run through July 5th.  Activities scheduled for this popular Boston event include A Party Over the Plaza, Chowderfest, live music entertainment, historical reenactments and walking tours. Museum of Science will hide 2 tickets to the KISS Concert in Mansfield, MA somewhere around the museum in a location that is free to access by the public. One clue per day will be revealed on the Museum of Science Facebook page on each day leading up to the KISS Concertevent, starting today, May 17th. The last clue will be given at 12pm Noon on Friday May 21st., the day before the Comcast Center event. To solve the case and win the 2KISS Concert tickets, you must be at the Museum of Science at 4pm on the same day (May 21st) and be the first to locate the tickets.

It will pick partygoers up at regular intervals on Summer Street near South Station, behind the Federal Reserve and along the Fort Point Channel. There will be signs.

Beer Advocate and Boston's Weekly Dig present Boston Beer Week 2010. For the 10 consecutive days from Friday, June 11 through Sunday, June 20, participating pubs, restaurants and/or breweries within and beyond the Boston Metro Area will be offering promotions and beer specials in celebration of the craft beer scene in Boston.

Any venue hosting a beer event can take advantage of this chance to add a free listing on the official Boston Beer Week website. Beer drinkers in Boston as well as any neighborhood or city within the 128- Belt are encouraged to check this site regularly to see the various beer drinking events available, as organized by date. Uninhibited: BCA's 40th Anniversary Party at the Cyclorama

Happy 40th Anniversary Boston Center for the Arts!

Uninhibited @40 is the fitting title that has been given to the anniversary party for the Boston Center for the Arts. The name "Uninhibited" represents the Center's attitude and approach to supporting and advancing the arts in the city of Boston, which has been now a forty year endeavor so far, with hopefully many more years to come.

The Uninhibited @40 Boston Center for the Arts Anniversary Celebration will take place on June 3, 2010 from 7pm to 10pm at the Cyclorama, 539 Tremont Street, Boston 02116.

Tickets for this event cost $75. This may seem steep but considering all of the entertainment planned for the party, it sounds to be quite worthwhile.

Soldier John Ford aka Director John Ford was forced to leave his duty(and his men) in the Armed Services behind in order to return to Hollywood to direct this film, They Were Expendable. Some believe it was his still recent experience with war that made the film so accurate in its portrayal of the bond that develops between soldiers and the sense of despair that they share. They Were Expendable features Robert Montgomery, John Wayne and Donna Reed. The film screening on May 30th will be introduced by Mary Anne Owen, daughter of Donna Reed. She will also be reading GI letters that were written to her mother during WWII.

The Borromeo String Quartet is well known for distinctive interpretations of Franz Joseph Hadyn's work, the composer considered to be the Father of the String Quartet.
